RDJL Always-On Internet Service

An always on Internet connection is a connection through Optical Lines or Fixed Wireless providing Internet on-demand. This connection can then be split in the house with the use of our managed router to allow multiple devices to share the Internet connection. We offer both a home and business package to meet your needs.

In addition your service will come with free roaming internet at all of our hotspots via a voucher. The voucher must be requested via a ticket in the client portal area. Sharing of vouchers IS NOT allowed. This voucher can be used to access the Internet away from your home anywhere RDJL provides PisoWiFi service. Speeds for this service are based on system load.

RDJL will make every effort to provide the speeds noted however these are "Up To" speeds. Peak Usage Times may experience slower speeds. Burst is available which allows for faster speeds if they are available. This means you may experience speeds over 25 Mbps at times.

What Equipment is Included in my Fixed Wireless Service?

To connect to our transmission tower and receive the Internet signal there will be a NanoStation wireless receiver installed. This receiver allows up to 450 Mbps of wireless connectivity. This mounts outside your house and allows you to access the Internet. A single Cat 6 wire runs from inside your home to the device to give it power. This will need a nearly unobstructed view of our transmission tower. Ideally we will mount this on the side of your home; however if needed an antenna mast might be required and mounted on your roof to get access.

To provide access in your house for computers, phones, tablets, TV's, or other devices a router will be install. This AirCube is a low power device that provides whole house wireless coverage for those devices. This device will be managed by our team so you do not have to hassle with it. If you choose you are able to provide your own router. We are unable to support routers provided by customers. If additional wireless or physical port access is needed this can be added. We do provide management of these devices for a monthly fee.

Installation hardware may vary depending on install location and other factors. In some scenarios we will deploy a larger dish and a switch to service multiple homes. This ensures no wireless interference from neighbors causing performance issues.
